:Our teacher is Linda Possak Anderson T.C.R.G., who has been a certified instructor of Irish dancing since 1991. Linda opened this school in September 1997, and it has been growing strong ever since.

:The dancers’ main activity is participation in feiseanna (competitions) at regional and international levels. Dancers who qualify also enter the North American and World Championships. In addition, the school contributes to the community through public performances at seniors’ homes, schools, libraries, and various ethnic celebrations.  Finally, our annual concert finishes off each year with a bang!

:The Possak School of Irish Dancing is supported by the Howth Society of Irish Dancing, which is a network of the children’s parents. This society raises funds to support the programs offered to the dancers, and it co-ordinates the volunteers required to execute the operations of the school and society. With Linda’s guidance, a strong program of Irish dance is offered to each child annually.
