From their Alaska website [1]: The Irish Dance Academy was founded in 1997 as a non-profit youth organization to foster the love of Irish Dance, culture and tradition. Since its inception, the IDAA, in partnership with the Comerford School of Irish Dance, has been the premier dance Academy in Anchorage with both its teams and solo dancers ranking highly in Regional, National and World-class competitions. The IDAA prides itself on its community outreach and fosters the spirit and love of the dance from our newest beginner to our most seasoned champion. The Irish Dance Academy of Alaska proudly performs under the direction of Noreen Wescott TCRG and Tony Comerford ADCRG.
