- Kathleen Desmond T.C.R.G. has been teaching for more than 25 years. Kathleen started dancing at the Deely School of Irish Dance at about 8 years of age and was one of the top dancers at Deely, a world renowned school. She has placed in several championships and was one of the Deely School’s main choreographers and teachers. She started her own school, the Desmond School of Irish Dance in 1995, shortly after she passed her T.C.R.G. (Irish Dancing certification from An Coimisiun, the Irish Dancing governing board). She has trained several Irish Dancing champions in her career, many who have competed in the Nationals and the World Irish Dancing championships.
